About our Bed & Breakfast
Covid-19 limited availability > please note that during the course of the pandemic, our B&B remains closed. However, we do rent our three self-contained vacation rentals with kitchens for guests who don't mind looking after themselves and preparing their own meals. Check out our website for more information - www.aurumlodge.ca.
Close to nature and far from the crowds - enjoy comfort, seclusion and tranquility in the mountains and the many year-round low-impact outdoor activities this area has to offer.
We are surrounded by forests and mountain peaks, and the lodge overlooks turquoise Abraham Lake. Our location is ideal for visitors wishing to explore the central portion of Banff and Jasper National Parks and adjacent front ranges and foothills of Bighorn Country.
Aurum Lodge is readily accessible on Hwy 11 (David Thompson Highway) from Red Deer / Rocky Mountain House in the East, or from Banff and Jasper National Parks via the Icefields Parkway to the west (Hwy 93).
Lodge rooms come with breakfast included whereas dinner is available as an extra by advance booking. Our self-contained units have kitchens and are designed for guests who prefer to look after their own meals and do not require access to the lodge or meals in the lodge.
Our facility is smoke free and a friendly dog resides in the lodge. We do welcome dogs in the self-contained units (max 2 per unit / $15 flat charge per dog).
Minimum stays apply for the self-contained units and in shoulder / peak season. Advance reservation is recommended. We also offer reduced rates on stays of four nights or longer (e.g. 15% on a stay of four to six nights). Note that rates shown depend on type of room, meals required, length of stay and time of year and are likely less than indicated in the rates section.
For detailed information, rates, activities and attractions in the area, check out our website www.aurumlodge.ca, but remember to let us know that you found us on BBAlberta.com
We look forward to welcoming you as our guest(s) at Aurum Lodge
n.b. As an eco-tourism facility, we do request our guests not to engage in environmentally damaging motorised recreation (helicopter tours, off-roading and jet-boating), hunting or trapping in the area.
