About our Bed & Breakfast
Located just west of Turner Valley, in the scenic foothills of Southern Alberta, Windflower Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful destination for a getaway to nature and country life. We are less than an hour's drive southwest of Calgary and minutes from Kananaskis Country. Our home is situated on 7½ acres, with Lineham Creek running through the property and beautiful 360° views. Our rooms are newly renovated and beautifully appointed. We are supplementing our energy needs with solar panels, a wind turbine, and an energy efficient wood burning stove. We will do all that we can to make sure that your stay is relaxing and comfortable.
Please feel free to bring your pets with you as we are a pet-friendly accommodation, just let us know ahead of time. We have two resident dogs and a cat.
Come and explore the area, bring a book and relax, or bring some art or craft supplies and use nature to inspire you. We are waiting to welcome you!
Take Deerfoot Trail South until it meets up with Hwy 2. This will take you through and out of the city of Calgary. As soon as you hit Hwy 2, get into the right hand lane and take the Okotoks exit. Go south into Okotoks, keeping on the same main road until you come to a set of lights just on the south edge of town at Hwy 7. Go right (west) on Hwy 7 to Black Diamond. Okotoks to Black Diamond is about 20 min. Go through Black Diamond (the road is now Hwy 22) to Turner Valley (only 3 km). When you get to the 4 way stop (Royal Bank on the right) reset your odometer. Go straight through the 4 way up the hill (this is Sunset Blvd and will turn into Hwy 546). We are almost exactly 4 km from the 4 way stop. Our driveway is on the left and had a wooden archway over it with our windflower sign and a blue sign that says 224037 Hwy 546.
