About our Bed & Breakfast
"How loud can quiet be?"
Chimney Rock Bed and Breakfast is nestled in what is historically known as Breeding Valley on the Eastern Slopes of the Alberta Rocky Mountains. During your stay, we will share the panoramic mountain views of the Livingstone Range from our deck overlooking Chaffen Creek or watch the cattle and horses quietly grazing in the valley below. You may be invited to help with chores or have a cup of coffee and listen while Tony shares some stories of the Valley - most are actually true!
Located south of Longview along the Cowboy Trail (Hwy #22), the Webster Ranch has been involved in the cattle business since 1946 and the homestead remains onsite. Lots of history and tradition on the range!
Peaceful and relaxing, this is an excellent location for your retreat or meeting yet easy to get out and explore some of our local attractions.
Once you've settled in, there are lots of opportunities to listen to the creek, watch the birds and wildlife, take a walk, do some stargazing (or even see the Northern Lights!) and enjoy life without noise. A wonderful spot to sketch, paint, take pictures or press flowers.
Tours of our Grazing and Riparian (wetland) Demonstration Sites can be arranged for larger or smaller groups for a minimal fee. The Webster Ranch received the 2005 Farm Family Award for the M.D. of Ranchland recognizing the family's responsible stewardship and sustainable land management. We welcome the opportunity to share the results of our stewardship efforts!
